Cage the Elephant’s forthcoming album, Social Cues, features an appearance from the one and only Beck. Turns out their collaboration well extend far beyond the studio, as Cage the Elephant and Beck have just announced a co-headlining North American tour. Even more exciting, they’ll be joined by Spoon, who’ll serve as the tour’s main support. Starcrawler, Wild Belle, and Sunflower Bean will also appear at select dates.
The expansive 30-date “Night Running Tour” kicks off on July 11th in Ridgefield, WA, and also includes stops at the legendary Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA; the Shorline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA; Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago; Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY; and Forest Hill Stadium in Queens, NY.
Tickets go on sale beginning Friday, February 15th at 10:00 a.m. local time via LiveNation. $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to a local food security initiative in the respective city they’re playing in. You can also get tickets here.
Cage the Elephant’s Social Cues is officially out April 19th via RCA. Beck’s latest album, 2017’s Colors, won Best Alternative Album at last night’s Grammy Awards. As for Spoon, they were recently spotted in the studio, presumambly working on the follow-up to 2017’s Hot Thoughts.
