Wilco took everyone by surprise last summer when they dropped their new album Star Wars completely out of the blue. Though Jeff Tweedy & co. have played a few shows in support of the excellent LP, they’ve yet to bring it to the late-night circuit — that was, until Thursday evening.
The band appeared on the Late Show and rattled off standout track “Random Name Generator”. Tweedy also did Stephen Colbert a solid by serenading the host (who was in jammies and clutching a teddy bear) with a lullaby.
